In het tijdperk van genomische selectie wordt het belang van het exterieur wel eens controversieel besproken. Maar wanneer gekeken wordt naar rundveeshows, kan worden opgemerkt dat de interesse en de emotie van de veefokkers voor het exterieur van de dieren onverminderd groot blijft.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Naast de positieve emotie die &#8220;mooie&#8221; koeien oproepen, moet de exterieurbeoordeling de optimalisatie van de levensduur in kaart kunnen brengen volgens duidelijk gedefinieerde wetenschappelijke principes bij vaststelling en beoordeling. De individuele onderbalkkenmerken moeten duidelijk gedefinieerd zijn en leiden tot begrijpelijke totaalscores. Een ander baanbrekend voordeel van het systeem is de lactatiespecifieke berekening van de voorgestelde totaalscores. Net als voorheen wordt de beschrijving van de lineaire individuele onderbalkkenmerken gegeven op een schaal van 1 tot en met 9. Om de voorgestelde totaalscores te berekenen, worden de bijdragen van de individuele onderbalkkenmerken gewogen op basis van hun impact op de levensduur. De beoordelaar kan de voorgestelde suggestie voor de totaalscore op beenwerk en het uier met +\/- 3 punten wijzigen. Dit betekent dat de beoordelaar nog steeds zelf de totaalscore per onderdeel per dier kan aanpassen.<\/p>\n<p>Het populatiegemiddelde komt overeen met 80 punten ongeacht de lactatie met een bereik van 68-93 punten voor jonge koeien en een verdere mogelijkheid om de schaal naar boven voor koeien met meerdere kalveren voor de totaalscores voor beenwerk en uier uit te breiden. Het populatiegemiddelde voor dit onderdeel ligt op 80 punten en komt overeen met de commerci\u00eble klasse R. Dit is wanneer de achterhand een gemiddelde tot duidelijke vorm van bespiering heeft.<\/p>\n<h4>BEENWERK<\/h4>\n<p>De voorgestelde totaalscore voor het beenwerk bestaat uit de vier individuele kenmerken die worden weergegeven in afbeelding 1. De weging van de kenmerken is gebaseerd op de wetenschappelijke kennis die de impact op de optimalisatie van de levensduur weerspiegelen. Gebreken die niet zijn gedefinieerd als hoofdkenmerken (bijvoorbeeld: klauwen wijzen naar buiten) verminderen automatisch de voorgestelde totaalscore, omdat deze de levensduur nadelig kunnen Uierreinheid is een onafhankelijk kenmerk van de lineaire beschrijving en maakt als bewezen fokwaarde deel uit van het staafdiagram van stieren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"c154\" class=\"frame default\"><a id=\"c2406\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>FleckScore verbetert de transparantie en vergelijkbaarheid<\/h3>\n<p>Het systeem kan uitmuntende koeien duidelijker identificeren dan tot nu toe het geval was. Dit dient ge\u00efllustreerd te worden aan de hand van het voorbeeld van de uier op de foto. De kruishoogte werd gemeten op 139 cm. Totaalscore 85 in de bespiering betekent goed tot zeer goed bespierd in de achterhand. In het beenwerk mag worden aangenomen dat een cijfer van 76 onder het gemiddelde ligt. Met een totaalscore van 86 in het uier scoort de koe in deze eigenschap aanzienlijk bovengemiddeld. Haar moeder werd ook beoordeeld met FleckScore in de 3e lactatie. Met 91-74-85-80 K151 laat de koe volgens haar beoordeling extreem grote frames zien met zwakke bespiering. In het beenwerk met totaalscore 85 kan een duidelijke sterkte in dit kenmerk worden aangenomen. Het uier heeft een score van 80 punten en komt daarmee overeen met het populatiegemiddelde van derde kalfskoeien.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 besloot de Oostenrijkse Fleckviehfokkerij het nieuwe systeem te gebruiken om mogelijke stiermoeders te beschrijven. Omdat ook in Beieren de stiermoederbeoordelingen met FleckScore worden uitgevoerd, moet dit op een vergelijkbare manier gebeuren. Dit betekent dat de beoordelingen van de mogelijke stiermoeders volledig vergelijkbaar zijn, ongeacht het fokgebied en de beoordelaar. Daarnaast moet het duidelijk zijn waar de toegewezen totaalscores (frame, bespiering, beenwerk en uier) op gebaseerd zijn.
